30 Weeks
How far along? 30 Weeks!! Only 10 weeks to go!!!
Best moment this week: Baby shower! My girlfriend Heather threw me a wonderful baby shower on Sunday! I am so grateful for all of the time, hardwork, and money she put into it-it truly made me feel special. Baby girl was SPOILED! She has more clothes than the rest of the family combined (ok perhaps I am exaggerating but she got a ton of clothes, people really love buying baby girl clothes! It was really nice and I am so grateful to everyone who came out. I feel blessed to have such amazing friends and family!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Yes this heat is making me nauseous as well as the intensity of my braxton hicks sometimes.
Labor signs: Lots of Braxton Hicks/tightening.
Symptoms: Sleepy, emotional, slightly frantic! :)
Happy or moody most of the time: Definitely grumpier this time around hahah I think mostly it's the heat that is making me feel grumpy and swollen. I also just feel soooooo pregnant, hard to move, bend over, get off the couch, climb up to get things etc.
Some photos from the shower!
29 Weeks shot. We skipped 28 weeks and never got around to the update...sorry baby!

27 Weeks
Best moment this week: We've had a few fun days with Micah this week we went do the zoo for a birthday party last Sunday and on Friday we went to the splash pad at a new park. Hubby and I got to go on an impromptu date night thanks to a surprise offer to babysit from Grandma Lind and Grandpa Sam. Much needed and very enjoyable!
Food cravings: No, but I made an amazing batch of chocolate chunk cookies this week and we all devoured them. Nothing like a rough week of parenting and very little sleep to get you on the cookie train!
Anything making you queasy or sick: I have been feeling a bit sick all week, very tight tummy and just overall queasiness.
Labor signs: Braxton hicks! A lot of tightening!
Symptoms: Getting a bit harder to move around these days!
Happy or moody most of the time: Pretty normal

25 Weeks
How far along? 25 weeks!!
Best moment this week: We hung some more of the decorations up in baby girl's room. It's so exciting I can't wait to finish it! Decorating for a girl is so much fun.
Food cravings: Not really though I was craving a subway type sandwich today, I had this craving in the first trimester and made sourdough deli style veggie sandwiches for lunch everyday for a week!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Eating too much! Not enough room in there!
Labor signs: Pressure, tightness, etc. but not really labor signs.
Symptoms: Mmm...see above.
Happy or moody most of the time: Somewhat emotional, or I guess reflective lately.
We missed week 24 but here is the 23 week bump photo!
Funny things at two years three months....
James and I are constantly talking about Micah's latest and greatest sayings and doings and we ALWAYS say "we have to write these down!" But of course we never do...because who has time?! I've forgotten most of them but I wanted to write some of them down before I forget.
Here goes:
If Micah wants Mama or Dada instead of the other (for example if it's daddy's turn to wake up with Micah and make him breakfast) he will say "Bye Dada, see you soon. Eat breakfast mommy." It's hilarious and very...subtle! ;)
Micah has heard James and I yell up or down the stairs for one another "baby" so now after his bath time with daddy when he is ready for me to come upstairs he'll yell from the top of the stairs "hey baby! " oh my goodness cutest thing ever.
Not sure how much they appreciate it but Micah loves basketball and gets super excited when other people are playing at the park. He'll yell enthusiastically "2 points!" when they make a shot, or "almost!" if they miss it. 😂
"Let's talk about it!." He'll sit down somewhere and say "let's talk about it," to get you to sit with him or he'll grab a book and I will say "oh do you want to read that?" and he'll say "let's talk about it!" So funny!
"Let's do that!" i.e. Micah do you want to go to the beach? And he yells excitedly "Yeah! Let's do that!" SO. CUTE.
"Quack, quack...how do you do?" Or alternately, "quack, quack how are you feeling?" Lol, we have a few guesses about the origin of this but we aren't quite sure.
"My do it!!!!" I'm sure almost every kid his age is saying this but it's just the funniest thing ever. From opening every door, to turning on the faucet, he's got it and don't you dare do it for him otherwise he will have to undo it and start from the beginning!
He loves his little Kitty stuffed animal his Auntie Cori got for him and he's been parenting "Meow" for the last couple weeks. He "dropped" Meow down the stairs picked him up and said "oh no, hurt?" and then he picked it up, kissed him and said "ok sweetie." HAH! He also always makes sure Meow has food to eat when he sits down to eat his lunch and will even wash his paws in the sink of his play kitchen when he's finished. He mimics a lot of what we do with him and has taken to saying at least once a day after giving Meow a big squeeze "I love you Meow!." So stinkin' adorable!
Whenever he sees or hears another child upset he gets this look of extreme concern on his face and says "baby sad!" He will often go to the other child and attempt to comfort them too, so sweet. The other day he heard a kid crying outside and he said "baby sad! Wants ice cream!"
Micah found his first crush, an older girl named Sophie who he followed around with the cutest little grin for a half an hour at the park. When they were leaving she gave him a hug and he asked for a kiss!

Food cravings: Pretty much back to normal eating but much less motivated to cook!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!
Labor signs: No
Symptoms: Fully belly, getting harder to move around
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy!

21 Weeks Pregnancy Update
Best moment this week: Well I missed the update for week 18 when we found out we are having a GIRL!!! That was by far the best moment but since then I have been having so much picking out her room decor (mint, light coral, white, and grey with some gold accents) and a feather/tribal theme. My mama is going to make her a patchwork blanket and Lind is going to make her a dream catcher mobile! Soooooo excited! We were blessed with two huge bags of girls clothes (as well as a ton of boy clothes from Micah's cousin K2!!). We mostly got 6 months clothes for baby girl so little by little I am buying some girl's clothing and am just loving every minute of it! Poor daddy, he knew this was coming with a girl! We put together her crib last weekend and hope to put the dresser together this coming weekend. I just want to decorate that nursery!!
Food cravings: No intense cravings really but still enjoying my favorite pastime, eating chocolate chips while reading a great book! Ahh comfort! Still loving fruit watermelon, peaches, strawberries, grapes....mmmm! Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really
Labor signs: No
Symptoms: Abdominal/ligament pain, ITCHY skin, easily winded, full belly!
Happy or moody most of the time: A little sensitive and quicker to tears or feelings of sadness but also a lot of happiness and excitement.
I am so bummed because my computer completely crashed and I had to wipe my hard drive clean. I lost several months worth of pictures including some maternity shots as I hadn't backed up since January! :( Thankfully, I have some saved on this blog and a few on the digital camera.
Here are some photos from the last couple weeks...just missing week 19 from the computer crash!
