22-months

Where does the time go?? I can't believe our little guy is about to turn 2! He is talking up a storm,  constantly dancing (he LOVES to listen to the Wiggles-especially Hot Potato!), playing the drums, cooking in his play kitchen, reading, jumping off the couch into a pile of pillows, and running around naked after diaper changes (while giggling hysterically!) He can count to ten and recognize various letters of the alphabet, he'll come up to me and point at my shirt and say "A" or "O". We try not to let him watch TV although we have when he is sick and he is obsessed with Daniel Tiger. He loves to jump and run! His favorite things in the world are going to the park and the beach. He has no fear of the water and would run straight into the ocean if we let him. His favorite animal seems to be a cat right now and he  loves to read his Dr. Seuss books over an over! His favorite food is toast and he asks for it throughout the day "eat toast!" He loves family hugs before daddy leaves for work, applesauce and chia pudding, to help mama bake and eat cookies, stickers and coloring, wrestling with daddy, nursing with mama, and he still loves to help us clean! He is so much fun and has such a great sense of humor! He has talked about his Nana and Cass almost every single day since we left Colorado! "Nana house cold-brrr!" And he points to the computer and asks to Skype with them at least once a week-so sweet! He has really started to love playing with other kids and whenever he sees a child under about 15 he yells "baby!" He loves to chase the big kids around the park and mimic what they are doing-especially if they have scooters or skateboards! He recently saw two older girls doing handstands at the park and he started laughing with glee and ran up right next to them and put his head on the ground! He is still such a people person and blows kisses to the cashier at every store we go into when we leave. He loves to watch the "trash truck" come and loves to read his Little Blue Truck books. It's so fun watching his personality develop and being able to communicate with him a little better every day.
