2/22 At 11 months Micah is chatting and yelling quite a bit. He says mama, dada, and coco...and many other babbles. His favorite color is green! He loves his green tooth brush and green blocks and eats all the green peas out of his veggie mix first. He gives kisses and high fives and is cruising around on furniture and attempting to climb on everything.
1/26 Micah has been giving sweet kisses to mama and daddy lately. Big, wet, juicy kisses with lots of teeth involved! Poor guy is still working in his upper four and we can tell he is in a lot of pain. He is doing some pretty funny yoga moves lately too, he will climb over us on the bed and stop-drop-and headstand or rub his face in the covers and shake his hips up and down...our funny little bunny! He is clapping all the time now but we aren't sure if he quite knows what it means. Sometimes he will do it after he does something he is proud of or when we sing and dance, but other times he will do it while he's crying....not sure what he thinks it means but it's super cute none-the-less! Lately he's been waking up in the middle of the night and being wide awake for an hour or so, this is usually precipitated by a slow clap while nursing....at which point mama begins to plead, no please go back to sleep!
2/1 Micah attended his first Superbowl party! Mama and daddy gave him a solo cup full of puffs and he was quite content to sit back watch the game and snack on his puffs-it was pretty funny to see him look like such a big kid! When we got home mama had her hair up in a towel when she went to nurse him to sleep and he couldn't stop laughing at her. Every so often as he was nursing to sleep he would glance up at her and giggle again.
2/2 One of Micah's favorite toys is his hammer that came with his xylophone. He carries it around with him a lot but for the past few mornings mama has found his hammer tucked away in the cart she uses to bring her books back and forth to work. We've taken it out everyday and he has put it back in when we weren't looking. So funny! He loves to pull himself up to standing on the cart and chew on the handle. He also seems to have inherited mama's obsession with shoes. If there are shoes left anywhere he can access he will find them....and eat them!
