12/22 Baby's first snow storm! Daddy, Mama, Auntie Cass, and Micah went out to do some last minute Christmas shopping and grab lunch and we ended up getting stuck on the 285 freeway for almost 2 hours! We made up for it with a nice bath in nana's sink!
12/23 Georgetown train! Micah's first train ride! It was FREEZING in Georgetown but we rode the train to check out Christmas lights and hang out with Santa.

12/25 Micah's first Christmas! He has grown up so much on our trip! He is now officially full-on crawling, sitting up on is knees, transitioning from belly, back, to sitting with ease, pulling himself up into standing position, pointing, and waving. He has been in heaven with the constant attention and stream of people. He loves his nana, grandpoo, auntie, uncle and cousins! He loved Christmas morning and was all smiles as he unwrapped empty cool whip containers and cheerio boxes! Most of his present were sent to our home in California so we didn't have to cart in all back on the plane but his favorite things are containers and lids right now so he couldn't have cared less! We had a white Christmas and it snowed all throughout dinner and into the next day! So cozy and so wonderful to have everyone under one roof for Christmas!

12/26 Micah crawled up two stairs today from Nana's living room to the kitchen! He is on the move and so proud of himself for all of his new accomplishments.

12/31 Late night, New Year's Eve Wrestlemania!
1/6 Mama and Micah had a play date today with Lisa and Evelyn, who is 8 months old. Even though she is only a month younger than Micah she is teeny tiny and Micah looks so much older! Mama discovered her sweet bubs is a bit of a bully when he is the big kid on the block. He took her pacifier and put it right in his mouth (he has always refused a pacifier), took all of her toys, tried to take her cookie, and then stole an orange slice right out of Lisa's hand. Too funny! So cute to see him interact with other littles!
1/8 Micah clapped for the first time today! Mama has been trying to teach him for the last couple days and she didn't think he had picked it up but today out of no where he started clapping on his own and kept going when mama and daddy got super excited! Such a big boy! He is pulling himself up on absolutely everything, crawling all over the house, eating more meals, and loves his "puffs" snacks.

1/17 In Colorado we laughed about how funny it was to walk in the room when Micah wakes up to see him sitting up in the play pen, now when he wakes up we walk in there and he is standing up at the edge of the crib waiting for us by the door. It is the cutest, funniest thing ever. When we walk in he gives us a huge smile and you can tell he is just waiting for us to open the door. Mama cannot believe how big her baby is getting! He is pulling himself up to a stand on absolutely everything. His new favorite toy is the air filter in our bedroom; he loves pulling himself up to stand against it and feeling the air on his face. He also loves the spring on the door stop and crawls over and pulls it back so it goes "boing" over and over. We cannot turn our backs for a minute because he is into absolutely everything. He has a special fondness for shoes...just like mama. Unfortunately, unlike mama he doesn't want to wear them....he wants to eat them! We are slowly learning to let go of our germaphobia. :) Although Micah hasn't gotten attached to any 'lovie',' he has become very fond of his toothbrushes. He has one red one from the dentist and one green silicone teething brush and he carries it around with him all over the house. He is getting one or two top teeth but won't let mama or daddy anywhere near his mouth to check them out. Mama and Micah did their first "Stroller Strides" workout class this week. Mama got an awesome workout and Micah was so patient both times...he just stared at all the crazy mamas jumping all over the place! We are about to close escrow on our condo and have found a new home in Huntington Beach. We are so excited to decorate Micah's first room and have some more space! Mama has already begun buying decor for his vintage transportation room! We will miss our lovely condo and the surrounding neighborhood though...we loved it here and made some amazing memories (bringing our first baby home for one!). But, on to the next chapter. We still won't have a yard but we are right across the street from two parks which will be so fun for Micah. We also will be much closer to the beach and close to the HB 4th of July parade, which should make for some awesome memories and traditions with Micah.
